Attentive Health President & Founder Denise G. Lantz, PHR, CHC-AADP recently spoke at the LuLu Country Club in North Hills, PA as part of a Business Forum hosted by the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. The event, titled “The Road Ahead: How to Survive & Thrive in Today’s Economy”, was sponsored by Business Improvement LLC and Huntingdon Valley Bank and held on April 1, 2009 for approximately 50 small business leaders from the greater Montgomery County area.

The panelists covered four topic areas of interest to business owners in a tight economy: Finance, Marketing, Personal Development, and HR & Leadership. Attendees were divided into 4 groups and the speakers rotated among the groups to provide maximum impact and knowledge transfer. Attentive Health’s HR & Leadership presentation was titled “Reducing Labor Costs & Hidden Expenses” and focused on three critical areas in which businesses are impacted in a tight economy: performance, retention & benefit costs. Ten timely strategies were introduced for attendees to take action on in the immediate future.
